Egoza Razor Mesh

Egoza razor mesh

Egoza razor mesh is a flat panel constructed from reinforced razor tape, with parallel strands laid in one plane and connected with special clips to form diamond-shaped cells. The finished mesh retains the cutting properties of the tape while offering a neater appearance compared to traditional wire, without extending beyond the fence contour. This makes it highly sought after for commercial properties, logistics centers, and premium residential sectors.

Mesh Construction

  • Load-bearing core – high-carbon wire Ø 2.4-2.5 mm, maintaining elasticity at temperatures from -50°C to +60°C.
  • Razor tape 0.5 mm thick is crimped tightly around the core wire without gaps; blades are stamped at an angle of approximately 60° for maximum sharpness.
  • Standard panel height – approximately 2 meters; length formed in multiples of 10 meters for ease of transportation.
  • Zinc or Al-Zn coating ≥250 g/m² guarantees corrosion resistance for more than 25 years without the need for painting.

Key Advantages

  • Compactness – the mesh stays strictly within the fence plane, without narrowing roadways or pedestrian areas.
  • Rigid structure eliminates sagging and ensures even load distribution on fasteners.
  • Aesthetic appeal: the flat surface without wavy coils maintains a neat appearance of facades and storefronts.
  • Fast installation: the panel is secured to posts with anti-vandal bolts, without the need to unroll coils.
  • Compatibility with video surveillance systems – the flat plane simplifies cable routing and vibration sensor installation.

Applications

  • Logistics and commercial complexes requiring a balance of security and aesthetic design.
  • Industrial sites with limited space where fence width must not be increased.
  • Sports facilities and stadiums – the protective mesh does not create a “cage effect” for spectators.
  • Premium private residences where security must blend with a minimalist exterior.
  • Critical infrastructure facilities demanding high resistance to cutting and bending attempts.

Installation and Fastening Recommendations

The mesh is installed on square posts 60×60 mm with a spacing of 2.5 meters. The panel is secured using anti-vandal bolts through a reinforcing bar to prevent point pressure on the wire. It is recommended to lower the bottom edge by 50-100 mm below the top of the foundation to prevent prying with a crowbar. At corners, panels should overlap by at least 150 mm and be fastened with four bolts.

Legal Status and Warranties

Egoza razor mesh is produced under the ISO 9001 quality management system, and the design is protected as an international "Egoza" trademark. Any unauthorized use of the brand or blade profile results in legal consequences (details available in the legal section).
